Extension CurlContent

CurlContent is a TYPO3 extension that retrieves structured data from external sources (websites, databases, etc.) and displays it as a content element on the website.

If the extension is not yet set up, please send a request to the TYPO3 team.

Predefined Presets

For the application options listed below, there are prepared default settings (presets for mediaTUM, TUMonline, and the FSMB databases) and pre-made templates. If you would like to integrate your own layout (.xls file), please feel free to contact us. The following links provide explanations, guidelines, and examples for each application.

Tip: Clear Page Cache (formerly Force Refresh)

If content has changed in mediaTUM or TUMonline, you will need to clear the cache of the page where the plugin is embedded to see the changes immediately in the frontend:  

  1. Click on the page where the plugin is located.
  2. Click the lightning bolt icon in the top right to Clear Cache for this page.
  3. Refresh the page in the frontend.
