Page tree
The page tree is the part of the TYPO3 backend that displays the hierarchical structure of the managed website. All pages currently created on your website are displayed in a tree that can be expanded and collapsed.
The icon at the top of each page indicates the page type.
Description
- Page Type "Standard": If no additional options, such as Page visible off, are set, this page will be displayed in the frontend navigation bar. Here, one or more content elements can be embedded.
- Option “Page visible" = disabled: this page is not visible in the frontend.
- Option “Page enabled in menus” = disabled: this page will not be displayed in the frontend menu bar. However, it can still be accessed, for example, through a link in a content element.
- Page Type "Shortcut": This page redirects to another page on the same website.
- Page Type "Folder": This is where pages, content elements, and news can be stored. These items are not displayed in the menu bar and are usually accessed through links.
- Reloading the page tree (only the middle column): the page tree will be refreshed.
