Order pages
The order of the pages in the page tree is important: The order of the pages as seen in the backend also applies to the frontend.
1. Using drag & drop in the page tree
You can move a page in the page tree using drag & drop. This makes it easy to change positions and levels. If you hover over a closed element while dragging, the subpages will expand and you can move the page to a new (sub)level.
3. With the "Move" function
- In the “list” view, select the “Move” icon for the page (Image 2). A list of neighbouring pages will appear (image 3).
- Click on one of the small arrows to move the page to the respective position. In this view, you can also switch to subpages (click on a page title) or switch to the parent page.
- Pages can be copied or cut. The corresponding icons are shown in Image 4, No. 3.
- Copied or cut pages are placed in the clipboard and can be pasted again. After you have copied or cut a page, you will see new icons: “Paste...” (Image 5). You can now paste the page from the clipboard into different locations (Image 5, No. 1, 2, or 3).
Hint
The same principle can also be used to sort, cut, copy, and paste page content within a page.
