Social-Media-Box

The social media box is a dedicated display area in the right-hand sidebar that features links to social media platforms along with their official logos.

Option 1: Custom Social Media Links

Link the social media channels of your website.

Step by step:

1. Create a new "Text & Media" content element.
2. Select the right sidebar as the column.
3. Enter the names of the social media channels individually in the RTE (e.g., "YouTube").
4. Link each text entry to the URL of the corresponding channel.
5. Select each linked text and choose the appropriate platform style (e.g., "YouTube") from the Styles menu in the RTE toolbar.
6. Remove the automatically applied "External Link" style. The text will then be displayed as a logo.
7. Save your changes.

Option 2: TUM social media channels (automatic)

If you want to display the official TUM social media channels in the box (LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky, Facebook, YouTube, X):

1. Create a "Text & Media" content element in the right sidebar.
2. Switch to the "Appearance" tab.
3. Under "Frame", select the "Social Media Box" option.
4. Save your changes.

TYPO3 will then automatically add the officially linked TUM social media channels along with their corresponding logos.
