Insert Records

Content elements that need to be displayed on multiple pages should be created as references using Insert Records. This way, when updates are made, changes do not need to be applied multiple times. You can reference records from almost any content type.

Content element "Insert Records"

  • Create a content element of type "Insert Records" (Image 1).
  • Click under Records on the folder Browse for records (Image 2 No.1).
  • A pop-up window will open where you first select the page (Image 3 No.2) and then the content element (Image 2 No.3) that you want to reference. It is recommended that the Header field is not left blank. Otherwise, the element will be labeled with "No Title." You can also enter a unique title for the "Insert Records" content element, although this will not be displayed on the frontend (Image 2 No.2).
  • Referenced elements will appear in a list after saving (Image 2 No.3).

If you have modified the original and the changes have not been reflected in the references (for example, in the contact area), clear the page cache (Image 4).
