Legal Obligations for websites - Imprint, Privacy, Accessibility

Anyone with a web presence must adhere to certain information obligations and legal requirements for their website. 

In all of our TYPO3 instances, the pages for Imprint, Privacy, and Accessibility are already included. You do not need to worry about this. All information has been reviewed according to the guidelines and is compliant with legal standards.

Imprint

The section "Person responsible for content" can be edited by you. You can find the "Imprint" page in the backend under the folder "fp-[shortname]." A special permission is required for this. 

The following information must be included:

  • The name of the person responsible for content. This must be a natural person, not an institution or organization.
  • The address
  • The email address

Privacy

The privacy page cannot be edited. All information complies with legal requirements.

Accessibility

The Accessibility page cannot be edited. All information has been reviewed by us in accordance with legal requirements. If you would like to request changes in the "Feedback and Contact Information" section, please send an email with your requests to typo3(at)tum.de.
