Create page content

To create new content elements, it is best to use the Page module.

  • Create a new content element
  • Editing content elements
  • Deleting content elements

Create a new content element

Screenshot: Create new content element
Image 1: Create new content element

You can create new elements as follows:

  • Select the Page module (Image 1 No. 1).
  • Choose the page where the content element should be created (Image 1 No. 2).
  • Click on “+ Content” (Image 1 No. 3).
  • A new window will open, allowing you to choose the type of content. The available content elements are grouped in tabs (Image 1 No. 4). To insert an element, click on its icon or name (Image 1 No. 5).

Editing content elements

In our example, we have created a Text & Media element.

  1. Type: Here you can select/change the content type. Depending on the type you choose, different options will be available to you.
  2. Column: Here you choose in which column of the frontend (FE) your element should appear. Either in the main column (normal) or to the right (right).
  3. Header: Enter the title of your content element here. Make sure to fill out this field.
  4. (Header) Type: Here you select the formatting of the header. A description of the individual "Header" types can be found on a separate page.
  5. (Header) Link: Here you can link the header. More detailed information on setting links can be found on a separate page.
  6. Subheader: Here you can enter a subheading that follows directly below the header. The "Type" of the subheader is automatically one level below the header.
  7. Text: Enter your desired text here. More information on the Rich Text Editor (RTE) can be found on a separate page.
  8. Don't forget to save.

Deleting content elements

By clicking on the trash can icon, you can delete an existing content element.

Hint!

We recommend that you regularly delete content elements that are no longer needed or outdated from your pages.

Simply deactivating your content is not enough, as it will still be displayed in the backend and make work confusing for you and other editors.
