How to restore accidentally deleted content as an editor-in-chief
When a page or content element is deleted in the backend, it only receives a marking and disappears from view. The content will be permanently deleted after 100 days in an automatic process. Until then, you can restore the content. To do this, use the functions of the "Recycler".
1. Click on the Recycler icon in the module bar on the left.
2. Click on the page in the page tree under which you want to restore the content.
3. Select the depth in the page tree from which the deleted content should be restored. If you are unsure where the content was located, it's better to go one level higher or select "Infinite" for depth.
4. Optionally restrict the type of record (Pages, News, Page Content, etc.). If you are unsure, simply select "All Record Types."
5. Find the record you want to restore in the now displayed list and check the box next to it.
6. Click "Recover."
7. Please also restore the associated file references.
