Preparation: Retrieve ID from TUMonline
Depending on whether you want to list the courses of an organization or a person, you will need the corresponding ID from TUMonline.
- To find the organization ID in TUMonline, proceed just as you would with the TUM Memberlist.
- You can find the person ID using the same method as with the TUMvCard.
List view
In the List view tab (Image 3 No.1), select under
- Columns to include in the list which information about the courses (Image 3 No.2) should be displayed in the list.
For the Link method: Course names should be linked to... (Image 3 No.3), specify how the links from the list to the course detail view should work:
- “…the detail page at TUMonline”: Link to the course detail page on TUMonline.
- “…the detail view of this plugin”: The course detail view is controlled by this plugin. Additionally, select in the Single view tab which details of the course should be displayed.
- “…nothing (no links)”: The course titles in the list will not be linked.
The layout you can determine via the Style (Image 3 No.4):
- Grid
- Horizontal lines
Link lecturers, assistants
In the Link lecturers, assistants tab (Image 4 No.1), you can link the names of the instructors:
People's names should preferably be linked to…
- “…a personal page on this website with a matching TUMvCard plugin”: The link goes to a page with the "TUMvCard" plugin of the respective instructor (follow the link for information on additional settings).
- “…a certain page (like a staff list) specified below”: Here you choose the page to which the instructor's name should be linked.
- “…the person’s business card at TUMonline”: This links the instructors' names with their business cards in TUMonline.
- “…nothing (no links)”: The instructors' names will not be linked.
Multiple TUMvCards for one Person
If you have multiple TUMvCards for the same person on your website, TUMcourses requires additional information on which TUMvCard to link:
- Select the category "PAGE:TUMvCard-xxx" in the TUMcourses plugin (Image 5 No.3).
- This category must also be assigned to the page where the desired TUMvCard is located (under Page Properties).
